The StorageTek L80 Tape Library is a high capacity, high-performance, streamlined single-unit design data management solution with plug-and-play capabilities for easy installation and management. Intended for mid to larger-sized organisations the StorageTek L80 tape library also efficiently addresses backup and recovery requirements, and scales to 16 TB of storage. This Tape Library is a rack-mountable or deskside midrange backup and archive unit, offering automated, unattended backup.
- 40, 60 or 80 cartridge slots
- 1-8 LTO 1 & 2, SDLT 220 & 320, DLT 8000 tape drives, or combination
- Up to 16 TB capacity (LTO Ultrium 2)
- Up to 30 MB/sec native throughput
- Simultaneous, non-partitioned support of multiple tape and media types
- Digital vision camera system performs continuous calibration and readsbar codes
- User-friendly configuration and diagnostic controls, status display andviewing window
